GeneralRestaurants of all types are spread in every city and village in Lebanon.
The total number is estimated at more than 5,000. 3,500 operate all year long and 1,500 are seasonal, welcoming their guests from May till October.
Investments in Restaurants
As of 1991, owners of restaurants renovated their premises; investors created new entities, introducing new concepts. More than 3000 new restaurants, pubs, cafés, discothèques, night-clubs and pastries were established between 1992 and 2005 creating thousands of jobs in the sector.
